Unfortunately, our Open Day had to be cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We are now planning for an Open Day in 2021, but a date has not yet been established, everything will depend on when the Covid lock down regulations allow such a gathering. All being well, arrangements will be made so that the Open Day will coincide with the launch of the new archive display, being organised by Gavin Allard.
The Allard Motor Company have moved into a new factory to revive Allard car manufacture, once again, after a gap of some sixty years since the last car was built at the Allard works in Clapham, London in 1958. The first new car, a JR with continuation chassis number 3408 will be on show, together with a line up of other Allard cars, both new and old.
The classic JR and J2 models will be hand-built to order by the Allard team and will be available as left or right hand drive with bespoke customer specific requirements. Two other classic models are under development based on the same modern rolling chassis platform. The J3 is an updated version of the iconic 1951 J2 and also the Palm Beach Mk.3, which is a revised version of the 1956 – 1958 Palm Beach Mk.2.
